mostly sunny and a little cooler today, but still nice with highs in the low to mid 50s with light winds. we warm things up by wednesday through the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 60s! have a great day tuesday. turning to crime beat... the owner of lake tahoe brewing turning to crime beat... the owner of lake tahoe brewing company has been arrested on a property theft-related warrant. deputies say michael candelario made an agreement to sell more than 45 thousand dollars worth of beer canning supplies to a brewery in british columbia... but after he was paid... he never sent the equipment. candelario was arrested at the closed carson city lake tahoe brewing company at 302 north carson street. investigators say there may be more theft or fraud victims in carson city and other locations. if you have more information, call carson city sheriff's

2-8-3-78-52. and at least one man in custody this morning... after a car chase that ended at the grand sierra resort. undercover deputies with the washoe county sheriffs office spotted two suspects... heading north on 395 yesterday. they were originally wanted in connection with a larceny case in carson city. with the help of the raven helicopter and the nevada highway patrol... the chase ended at the grand sierra resort... where at least one of the two suspects was taken into custody. washoe county, reno police, and the nevada highway patrol all assisted in that chase. let's check in with meteorologist jeff martinez for let's check in with meteorologist jeff martinez for a first look at the weather. good morning, jeff! mostly sunny and a little cooler 60s! have a great day tuesday. time to check out our roadways

cruz fired up the crowd by promising to defend the constitutional rights of citizens. today... he has rallies in fernley, minden, carson city... before heading back to las vegas. senator marco rubio also held a rally in reno yesterday... after jetting in from elko. local supporters... including lieutenant governor mark hutchison and senator dean heller were there... reminding everyone of the importance of attending the caucus. rubio outlined his conservative platform... and touched on the issue of land ownership here in nevada... which got a roar of support from the crowd. rubio plans to be in las vegas for today's caucus. and yesterday... doctor ben carson spoke to a crowd of more than 400 at piper's opera house in virginia city. it was the first time a president or candidate visited the city since the 1800's his supporters cheered when he described the flat tax he would implement if elected.. how he'd strengthen our military.. re-invest in our space program... and improve health

republican and want to attend, where do you go? head to nevadagopcaucus. org click on the find your location here. and they will give you an exact location and start time which is anywhere between 5 and 7 pm depending on your precint. now, you don't have to stay the entire time. you can cast your ballot and leave at anytime during the process. an exciting time for one volunteer. "this is really where the grass roots of the republican party come together. our time to talk about candidates, meet our neighbors, go over a lot of the information that we want..." party leaders are stressing the importance of participation in tonight's caucus and say that other states are vying for nevada's coveted spot in the primary and caucus season. "we risk loosing our first in the west status. there are states like colorado and arizona that are really lobbying for that. and we don't want that to happen because nevada is a diverse population that really

thanks jeff. looking around the world now... relief was finally distributed to residents of fiji's main island yesterday... after a powerful cyclone killed a total of 29 people there. thousands of homes are believed to have been flattened in the storm. winds from cyclone winston, which tore through the pacific island chain over the weekend, reached 177 miles per hour, making it the strongest storm in fiji's recorded history. getting emergency supplies to the separate islands and remote communities has been the fiji government's top priority. and the syrian government says it will accept a temporary cease fire truce in the country. this announcement comes one day after the united- states and russia agreed on a cease-fire for syria... which is set to start this saturday. the u-s, russia and syria say

isis, al- qaeda or any terrorist groups. russian president, vladimir putin says the agreement is a step to "stop the bloodshed." some argue that individual countries will be unable to determine if all contries are complying to the agreement. looking around the nation now... demonstrators are expected to stage rallies at apple stores across the country... amid the company's ongoing encryption battle with the f-b-i. apple is refusing to comply with a court order to create a back door that would allow the f-b-i to access data from the i-phone of one of the san bernardino terrorists. in an email to his staff yesterday... apple c-e-o tim cook thanked everyone for their support... saying that "this case is about more than a single phone." the f-b-i's director said sunday the agency's demand is about giving the victims justice... and providing a thorough investigation into the shooting.

mastercard is launching new technology so you can use selfies to approve online purchases. the company says selfies and fingerprint scans are safer than typed passwords. especially since many passwords

the mastercard identity check app has you take a selfie each time you buy something online. your face or fingerprint will be scanned to prove it's you spending the money -- and not a scammer....but you won't be able to use the same picture over and over. mastercard makes you blink -- to show that you are taking that pic as you shop. the fingerprint scanner is a little easier, especially if you have a new iphone with the technology already built in. "free shipping" just got a little harder to come by for amazon shoppers. the rule is -- if you spend enough money on the web retailer, you get free shipping - but amazon just raised that minimum amount. now you'll have to spend at least 49 dollars before an order ships for free. -a 40 percent increase from the previous minimum of 35 dollars. it's not clear when amazon made the change. but amazon prime

welcome back. time for take 2... stories we think are worth a second look. a pair of utah sisters who used in-vitro fertilization to get pregnant now have multiple sets of twins! these identical twin moms, kerri and kelli, say its divine intervention. you could call it 'twin mania' -- five sets, ten twins, one family both sisters were told they would not be able to be pregnant but fertility treatments changed that. kelli was first with her twin girls... mckel and madison! then kerri announced she was pregnant with twins... kole and hallie. then kerri also had sadie... who looks and dresses like her big sister hallie. then came kellis big announcement... twins again... kyler and kenadee.
